Senior Product Engineer, Abatable

Jan 2024 – present · carbon market procurement & intelligence platform

  • Technical lead on multiple key revenue generating product launches end to end, from scoping with commercial teams and clients through to delivery.
  • Architected the stack from zero: Remix.run, TypeScript, React, Prisma, and Postgres, with automated testing via Playwright and Vitest on GitHub Actions CI/CD.
  • Partnered with the Head of Engineering to recruit, interview, and onboard four engineers.
  • Introduced modern AI-assisted engineering practices, delivering a 2–4× increase in team productivity.

Founding Engineer, Fenix Carbon

Feb 2022 – Jan 2024 · data platform for carbon offset developers and investors

  • First engineering hire. Owned architecture, stack choices, and engineering process from day one.
  • Took two SaaS products from zero to launch: a carbon offset marketplace and a financial dashboard for offset investors.
  • Worked directly with the founders on product strategy, translating an evolving carbon-market thesis into shippable roadmaps.
  • Built escrow-based payments via Tazapay and subscription billing via Stripe.

Software Engineer, Farewill

Nov 2020 – Feb 2022 · wills, funerals, and probate

  • Tech lead on the launch of Farewill's newest product, Funeral Plans. Introduced Next.js on the frontend and built a GraphQL API from scratch on the existing Node.js backend.
  • Tech led a modular, CMS-driven system for blog and content pages, removing engineering as a bottleneck for every new page.
  • Began the transition from Redux to react-query as the data and caching layer.
  • Added the company's first automated frontend integration tests within my first month.

Frontend Engineer, Seedrs

May 2018 – Oct 2020 · equity crowdfunding platform

  • Helped build the world's first secondary market for equity-crowdfunded businesses.
  • Developed the world's first AI robo-investor for crowdfunded businesses.
  • Helped ship the company's first React frontend, including turning parts of the Ruby on Rails stack into an API for external applications.
